Kahkasha Wahab is a Ph.D. candidate in the Arch H. Aplin III ’80 Department of Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism at Texas A&M University and served as Instructor of Record for HMGT 210: Data-Driven Decision Making in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She previously served as a Lecturer at the University of Dhaka, where she taught Business Research, Quantitative Analysis, and Macroeconomics in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management and supervised MBA research projects focused on digital transformation and social media in tourism.
At Texas A&M, she has also worked with the Graduate and Professional School’s Marketing and Communications Team, contributing strategic web content and research-based storytelling to support graduate recruitment and engagement initiatives. In addition, she serves as Vice President and Treasurer of Eta Sigma Delta(ESD) International Hospitality Management Honor Society, securing competitive university funding to advance hospitality research programming.
Her research centers on sustainable tourism, social media influence, and emerging technologies, with publications, conference presentations, and ongoing journal submissions in leading hospitality and tourism outlets.
