Professional Summary
Dan Eichler, MHM is an Assistant Professor of the Practice in the Department of Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism. He received his Masters in Hospitality Management from the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership at the University of Houston. Eichler brings to Texas A&M University over 30 years of experience working in the hospitality industry. He has an extensive background in Hotel Management, Sales, and Food and Beverage as well as working in the growing sector of Senior Living. He brings knowledge of working in the field in a variety of hotel and resort settings which encompass many different hotel brands including Marriott, Hilton, Wyndham, IHG, Hyatt and Best Western. While working full time in the hospitality industry, Eichler enjoyed sharing his passion for the industry by being an adjunct professor at Austin Community College and Blinn College teaching students about the hospitality industry.
Dan Eichler has been acknowledged for his expertise in the industry by being named a Board Member for the Austin Hotel and Lodging Association, Brazos Valley Lodging Association (where he served as President) and the Texas Hotel and Lodging Association.
